Coming soon to Europe, another sub-30k EV
The production model of electric Honda e has just been revealed in Frankfurt along with final specs and pricing.
They are good news and bad news; the good news is that much of what we loved in the last prototype will begin shipping in summer 2020, and the bad news is : the battery and price(not that bad..).
It will be launched in the UK and Germany at £26,160 and €29,470, respectively.
The base model which is equipped with a compact 35.5 kWh capable of transporting occupants 220km (137miiles) when fully charged. The car produces 134 horsepower or 152 horsepower if you upgrade from the base motor, also features fast charging from a claimed 0% to 80% charge in 30minutes, how amazing!!!
Other features include side-mounted cameras that replace conventional mirrors with 6-inch screens mounted in the corners of the full-width, 5-width digital dashboard.
There are 2 12.3-inch LCD touchscreens in the center to display infotainment, while an 8.8-inch screen acts as the driver's instrument cluster. "Okay Honda" activates the inbuilt personal assistant which will over time fine-tune itself to the driver.(Pretty cool!)..
